Visible - Launch Weekend
HOW VISIBLE ARE YOU?
Join us at the recently reopened mac, in Cannon Hill Park, to launch this year’s SHOUT festival. The launch weekend explores the visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans communities and individuals through visual arts, film, live performance, comedy, artist talks and discussions, research and social events.
The weekend features:
Heterophobia, a new play by writer/director Hannah Phillips
Tina C, Whitetrash country icon
Woubi Cherri, a documentary film about LGBT life in West Africa
Invisible, drawing together queer Black and Asian performers for performance, comedy, poetry and discussion
